Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 21, 2026
You are reading the rules of engagement for wichitalocalseo.com. We build citation consistency, optimize Google Business Profiles, and map local search strategies for Kansas businesses. We do not sell magic bullets. Read these terms before you use our site, apply our methods, or hire our agency.
1. Agreeing to These Terms
By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. We do not negotiate these rules. If you disagree with any part of this agreement, you must leave the site immediately. We run a tight ship. Our local SEO strategies require strict discipline. Our legal terms demand the exact same respect.
You must be at least eighteen years old to use this site or engage our services. We deal with real business owners operating legitimate local enterprises. We do not cater to hobbyists.
2. Our Intellectual Property
We build our own frameworks. We test our own strategies. The text, case studies, and local search data published here belong entirely to Wichita Local SEO.
You cannot scrape our content. You cannot copy our Google Business Profile optimization checklists and publish them on your own agency website. We monitor the web for stolen content constantly. When we find our material copied, we file DMCA takedowns without hesitation. Our guides on NAP consistency and review velocity took years of trial and error to develop. We protect that investment aggressively.
You may link to our articles. You may quote short excerpts if you provide a clear, direct backlink to the original page. You may not scrape our local SEO frameworks and host them on a different domain. We spend real money and real time developing this intellectual property.
3. No Guaranteed Rankings (The Reality of Local Search)
We need to be absolutely clear about how local search works. We provide educational information based on active, hands-on experience ranking businesses in Kansas. We do not guarantee rankings.
Nobody can.
Google updates its proximity signals constantly. The map pack is a volatile environment. We share exact tactics that worked for an HVAC contractor in Phoenix or a roofer right here in Wichita. That does not mean you will get the exact same result. You might misapply a tactic. You might face a competitor with a massive budget. You might get your Google Business Profile suspended because you stuffed keywords into your business name.
Local SEO carries inherent risks. Google strictly enforces its guidelines for representing your business online. If you use virtual offices or P.O. boxes to fake a local presence, Google will eventually catch you. If you buy fake reviews to artificially inflate your rating, your profile will get suspended. We discuss these black-hat tactics on our site to explain how the ecosystem works. Discussing them is not an endorsement.
If you follow our free advice and your rankings drop, we are not responsible. You apply these strategies at your own risk. You own your outcomes.
4. Limitation of Liability
Wichita Local SEO and its operators will not be held liable for any damages arising from your use of this website. This includes direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
If your business loses leads, experiences a drop in phone calls, or suffers a GBP suspension after reading our site, you cannot hold us financially responsible. We provide the raw data and the strategic frameworks. Execution is entirely on you. We limit our liability to the maximum extent permitted by Kansas law. If your website breaks because you implemented a schema markup poorly, you fix it.
5. Educational Content vs. Client Work
Reading a blog post about citation building does not make you our client. Downloading a free guide to optimizing your GBP Q&A section does not establish a business relationship.
We only take on clients through formal, signed service agreements. Until you sign a contract and pay an invoice, you are simply a visitor consuming free educational content. The information on this site covers general local market tactics. Your specific plumbing or dental business requires a custom audit. Do not email us demanding free audits based on our blog posts.
6. Affiliate Links and Third-Party Tools
We use specialized software to do our jobs. We track rank positions across specific Wichita zip codes. We audit local citations across dozens of directories. When we mention a tool we actually use, we sometimes include an affiliate link.
If you click that link and buy the software, we receive a small commission. This does not cost you anything extra. We never recommend a tool just to get a commission. If a rank tracker is inaccurate, we say so. If a citation builder is too slow, we call it out. Our recommendations are based entirely on operational reality.
We test the software. We verify the results. We publish the findings.
7. User Conduct and Comments
We occasionally allow comments on our case studies. If you participate, you must behave like a professional. Do not spam our comment sections with exact-match anchor text pointing to your local business. We delete spam immediately.
Do not post misleading information about Google algorithm updates. We protect the quality of the information on this site. If you violate these basic rules, we will block your IP address permanently. We have zero tolerance for link spammers.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
We operate out of Wichita, Kansas. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas. If you decide to take legal action against us, you must do so in the state or federal courts located in Sedgwick County, Kansas. We know our local market. We keep our legal matters local as well.
9. Modifications to These Terms
The local SEO industry shifts rapidly. Our website policies change with it. We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
We will update the effective date at the top of this page when we make changes. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically. Continued use of the site after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We do not send out blast emails for minor updates. Check the page.
